Uncle Goh has been one of the patient yet nice hawker I have ever met. His Char Chye Tao Kway is really nice, not too oily yet tasty! Used to visit his 1st stall in Chinatown when I was really young. Try his black soya sauce chye tao kway, I prefer his black to white cooking flavour for the noodles though. Price is reasonable. Cleanliness is fine. Eating experience: Good!

I am someone who does not fancy taking prawns as a part of a meal and I hate taking the prawn soup because of the severe prawn taste. Hi alot of people who are the younger generations & patrons of Ah Heng Curry Chicken Noodle store may not be aware that their 1st flagship store was in Cross Street. The stall can be easily spotted as the elder brother who is the chef wears a protective goggle to fry his noodles. The difference in his fried hokkien mee is that he uses normal rice vermicelli (Bee Hoon) instead of the usual thick ones (
