The porridge is decent and good. Its worth a try. The rojak is however, a bit funny. Is pitch black. I cannot see anything except the very black color sauce. Try the porridge, but not the rojak. If it is not the rojak I will have give it a 4.

The Kway chap is okay only. Actually I am not sure why it is so popular. The kway chap is decent, but I don't think it is good to the extend to enjoy queue. Its quite expensive too. My husband and I ordered 2 bowl and the kway chap is COLD. The taste is also very bland!
The waiting time is pretty long too. I heard the ah pek is has been hospitalized and his son (and another youngster) now

Forget about katong laksa and that will solve your headache on deciding which one is original. Try the Laksa of this stall. Its simply divine! The gravy can be smell outside the stall, and that is enough to drive any people queuing up to try it. This stall is not my favorite laksa stall though. My favorite is at Yishun Interchange there..there is a small eatery shop selling laksa and

Always long queue. The difference between this stall's queue and other stall queue is that this stall queue is all crowd around the stall (not in one line). Why? Cause all old auntie and old customers and chit chat.
The rice is not very very fascinating , but the meat is really good! Most of the time make a good choice to dabao for our lazy children who cannot get out of bed til 12pm

The soup base is far too thin. If you want to eat this stall, visit Hong Lim Food Centre one as it is thicker. So far, for curry chicken noodle, I have tried this as well as beach road one and none I consider good. Considering noodles with spicy gravy, only the laksa stall in kovan pass my expectation.
