Cheng Hao You Ji Mian (承浩油鸡面) sells a variety of noodles, including 'Soya Sauce Chicken Mee', 'Wanton Mee', 'Shredded Chicken Hor Fun', 'Dumpling Mee' as well as 'Dumpling Soup'.
The dishes are cooked based on a generation old Cantonese recipe. The stall was formerly located at Amoy Street, known as Hong Ji (洪记).
Each plate of noodles is cooked with a standard roll of noodle. Big eaters may request for noodles.
Speciality is 'Soya Sauce Chicken Mee', which is unique at Golden Mile Food Centre, priced at $3.00 per plate.

Take MRT to Lavender station (EW11) and take Exit B. Take a 5 mins taxi ride along Crawford Street and Beach Road to Golden Mile Food Centre. There is no direct bus from Lavender station.
By bus
Take buses 100, 961, 961C or 980. Alight just before Kampong Glam Park and take a 5 mins walk to Golden Mile Food Centre.

Foodlane visited Cheng Hao Mian Dian (????) on the 23th of May and is given several different dishes to sample.
First up is the Soya Sauce Chicken Mee, which is the stall's speciality dish. The Soya Sauce Chicken Mee is sauce , mixed with the noodle, is just right. The chicken meat is from chicken drumstick, and is unquestionablely tender and smooth.
Next up is the Shredded Chicken Hor Fun. Once again, the sauce goes well with the soup and the amount of Hor Fun is just right. The only complain from me is that the mushroom can be a bit thicker. Mr Law explains that he purposely make it thin so that it can be smoother.
Finally is the Dumpling soup. The soup is delicious, with the mild fragrance of seafood and chicken in it.
On the overall, I feel that the stall may be overlook by many due to its humble appearence. If you are at Golden Mile Food Centre and is confused by the sheer number of stalls, do give Cheng Hao Mian Dian is try!
